Francesco Brigatti Nebbiolo Colline Novaresi Mötfrei

Nose of sweet cherries, some vanilla. Not too complex, but very clean and pleasing. Well structured, mouthwatering acidity and mild tannin grip with the barrel aging smoothing out the Nebbiolo character somewhat. Could it gain some complexity with five-ten years? Its sibling MötZiflon in the same vintage showed somewhat more complexity. Decent match with chicken confit.
