PnP. Cork soaked 2/3. Great fruit nose that picks up a bit of funk over time. Blueberry pie, sweet plum, smooth/soft tannin. GREAT fruit that doesn't reflect the 15% ABV. Not terribly complex, but quite pleasant at the price.

Delicious structured dark fruits. Don't worry about over analysing, but pour, drink and enjoy. Alcohol at 15%, but really doesn't feel like it.

This is a big 15% wine that wears its weight really well. The fruits are red, maybe some strawberries, and it is followed up by a gloriously cleansing dash of acidity that makes it all feel light and refreshing. Good and very clean finish. This is drinking beautifully now.

Over 80% syrah blended with cabernet sauvignon and merlot. Overall was very tempranillo-like. Light herbal, blackcurrant and french oak aroma. Delicious and concentrated blackcurrant and sour plum taste with hint of herbs and coffee beans. Fruitiness was powerful and deep. Notable fresh acidity. With more aeration, it devloped some licorice element. The body was relatively weak in contrast of the fruitiness but not bad. Light and smooth tannin. Very good to drink now.

Tasty! More old world than new world style. Certainly not an Aussie fruit bomb, but full bodied with deep red color. Got better with air. Got this on a Cinderella Wine offer for $20, which made this an excellent buy, but $30 or higher this would face a lot more competition including Ridge offerings.

Powerful and impressive. Not at all subtle. Probably at peak but no hurry to drink up

Vinos Iberia catering Taberner 06 Darker than hell colour for an inexpressive wine. Nose very closed, needing lots of time to open up; then offers sweet cherry, roses, some chinmey sensations, all well-balanced with sandalwood. Some nice salty touch. Shampoo too? Clearly a defect. On the palate a little alcoholic. Had much better memories of previous vintages. Maybe just needs time. Color obscuro como el infierno para un vino inexpresivo. Nariz muy cerrada necesita un montón de tiempo para abrirse. …

A surprising red wine from a region most known for its Sherry wines, with an unbeatable QPR. On the nose red fruit jelly aromas, raspberry and wooden notes. On the palate it´s a bit alcoholic, presence of tannins (not in an unpleasant way), good acidity. Raspberry, blueberry flavours with hints of coffee and some creamy notes. Incites you to drink, which is one of the best things you can ask for a wine. Highly recommended.
