Opened and left to breathe. Scented with notes of cassis, slightly dried cherry and touches of plum, with notes of spice, cocoa, vanilla, cigar box, herbs, pencil shavings, new leather, espresso and hints of eucalyptus. The wine enters the palate with smooth textures and well built structure. Above moderate acidity, tannins and abv. Flavors reveal, cherry, cassis, spice, herbs, leather, vanilla, no. 2 pencil and hints of espresso, cocoa and eucalyptus. The finish hangs in with the tannins gaining in …

Matured nicely. Fruit has mellowed and lighter bodied than I remember but classy overall. Red fruited and seamlessly smooth. Finish a little clipped. Not overly complex but balanced. Won't improve. Drink up.

Very nice wine in a good drinking window. Based on this bottle don’t exercise expect much improvement over tune. Think that drink in the next 2-4 years makes a lot of sense

From 375. Nose is lovely. This was never a fruity vintage to begin with but what little was there is almost gone. Acid and tannins are in lovely balance making this easy to drink, Some cedar and faint dry cherries. Drink up.

This Cab has lost a lot of luster since my last tasting experience unfortunately. The wine seems old, flat and somewhat medicinal. There's not much more to say here, the Cab was not terrible, but not very good either, I would say it's better days are in the rear view mirror. I think that I'll stick to their Beckstoffer & Howell Mountain Cabs and avoid the entry level reds.

Lavender and red fruit on the nose. The taste is of tart dry cherries. The finish is clean with nice balance that goes down smooth. Drinking well now. From 375, nice.

The Tor cab was terrific. A lovely mocha/chocolate overtone layered over lovely spice. It is drinking well at this juncture.

Fantastic bottle that will bring out the fruit once open. After the 2 hour decant, you will notice a nice settle balance between the fruit. The tannin levels will reduce into a harmony of characteristics.

Waited about 18 months from the last bottle. The additional cellar time have proved worth the wait. Instead of having to wait until day 2 or 3, this started to sing after being opened for 2- 2.5 hours. Similar tasting note from the previous bottle. Can still lay this one down for 3-5 years.

Still a lovely wine. Dark, modest fruit with balance, elegance and finesse. My last bottle and that's unfortunate. Even better on day 2. A nice buy, if you can find it.

Not as big vibrant and fruit filled as before. Thinking this has left it's infancy and is now in a transitional stage. Hold for now.

Initial vanilla/fruit flavors made me think about caymus fortunately this settled down quickly with a nice combination of tart cherries depth and length

Upon opening this wine was overly fruity, jammy, and rather flabby, lacking any real definition. After an hour, however, the big fruit let some brighter notes show through. Although I gravitate to big fruity wines, this one borders on being too much of a good thing.

Took the advice of others and decanted for a few hours. Usually I agree as the tannins can soften some, the nose opens and the wine is able to strut its stuff. The tannins were not an issue for me, it's the overwhelming fruit that makes this just too flabby and sweet. For my palate, if I had more, I would give this 4-5 years at least. Going to be a nice wine, just needs time. The nose and mid-palate …

I rated this wine under the wrong label (TOR Cabernet Napa Valley), that being said I give this wine a 90.7 score after decanting.
