Balnaves of Coonawarra Cabernet Merlot

Dense reddish purple color with a sweet and deeply intoxicating rich nose of dark fruits, dried herbs, meat, mint and tobacco. The palate is likewise lush and full with a wide array of flavors including cassis, blueberries, blackberries, wet humus, menthol, sage, tobacco, and oak. The wine is still quite young tannic, suggesting that this wine is only going to get better with a few more year in the cellar.
