Lioco Pinot Blanc

Palest straw color. At cellar temp, subtle and soft aromas of sweet pear and citrus. Initial zest, some white pepper gives way to a softly sour tongue coating finish, some bread and stoniness. Light in body, lithe and elegant. Would get bowled over by most seasoned foods, but i could see it with lightly smoked whitefish.

Subtle flavors, almost unassuming, but a pleasure to drink. Sort of pinot gris meets chardonnay.

Opened the wine tasting group with this elegant and balanced bottle. Acid is lovely and minerality is impressive for this unique varietal execution. Very refreshing overall.
