This has been open for 24 hrs and is holding up perfectly. Dried fruit on the nose, tart on the finish. High minus acid. Dark fruit, little vanilla

Open for business, though still quite primary, this will be worth following for another 5 to 10 years. Aromas of blue plum, blackcurrant, blackberry, there's a bit of a jellied aspect to the fruit. Earthy, meaty, spicy, floral as well: freshly dug beets, pine forest, bloody red meat, toasted spice, white and blue flowers... simply gorgeous on the nose. Really nice. Fresh and fruity with dark red fruits and a remarkable mineral precision. Very good value. Drinks fine now and will do so for many years.

Very austere on day one, but exactly what you would expect from Rully. Put on considerable weight on day 2.

P'nP at a restaurant. This started out really strong, then faded after 30 minutes before opening up again after an hour or so. In the future I will open this up at least an hour before pouring. Some notes of game, and a medium finish. Nicely balanced.

Nez de confiture de cerise. Belle pureté en bouche avec des tanins serrés, fruit rouge macéré et épicé. Un petit bémol - de style moderne et un peu trop marqué par le bois.
