A bit simple, but pleasant and easy drinking. I didn't notice much in the the way of typical floral/lychee Gewurtztraminer notes at first, but they showed up with a little more air

I tasted mostly minerals rather than fruit or spice in this sauvignon blanc/gewurztraminer blend. Good with food (cold salmon with herb mayonnaise) but not a QPR standout at about twice the price of nice Marlborough SBs.

Wine for Passover 2017; 4/15/2017-4/16/2017 (Our Seder at Home) : Light green gold in color. This is a blend of Gewrztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc. At the least, one would expect an aromatic nose. Very clear. Perfumed nose, tropical fruit and white flowers with hints of grass. Very light body backed by great acidity. Pretty.

Nose: very aromatic and pretty. Burst of orange blossom, honey suckle and star fruit. Spring meadow with well-pollinated flowers and fresh cut grass. Palate: medium plus, plush body. High glycerin texture. Medium acid and just a touch of sweetness, this is a beautifully structured wine with a silky mouth feel. Orange blossom and honey suckle on the mouth, too. Orange zest and rose water. Slight petrol overtone and a hint of smoke. There’s dried thyme as well. Finish: the acid …

Tulip White Tulip 2014: This is an un-oaked white blend of Gewürztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc. Light gold in color, the dominant aromas on the nose come primarily from the Gewürztraminer component with lychee, pineapple as well as apricot, lemon, hay and some mineral overtones. While very fruity, this light to medium-bodied wine which might still have a touch of residual sugar is rather dry on the palate with flavors of tropical fruits such as papaya and pineapple as well as …
