Dark ruby garnet. Dark figs, raspberry, sweet loam, chocolate, lilacs and roses, a hint vinegary goodness. Spreading dark dry fruit on the palate in a warm acid frame, firm aromatic tannins, long finish. Lovely with a selection of American cheeses from Saxleby cheesemongers.

Medium garnet. Floral plums, tea, a hint of earth, pastille on the nose. Dense concentration of raspberry jam on the palate, strong acids, light tannins growing to a firm crispness at the back. Medium body, lasting tannic finish. In the end, an amazing intensity and balance.

Deep ruby red colour. Red currants, red berries and pepper on the nose. Taste of ripe red currants and red plums with hints of leather. Light and dry tannins in the finish. Goes well with duck, pork or veal.
