Restaurant purchase. Really paired well with the Seafood Fettuccine. Classic California and very classy

Nicely balanced with apricot and citrus fruit. Just a touch of oak and no butter notes. Very good QPR ($20).

Fully barrel fermented. Smells like hazelnuts. And super ripe Chardonnay aromas on the nose as well. And the palate follows through the same way. Big, with concentration and impact. Darn, I was tasting a single vineyard. Here is the real review: Oldest chardonnay vineyards but less new oak, more stainless steel. So more lifted aromas here - less hazenut and more a touch of citrus. Still big chard fruit there. Palate shows off its bumptiousness too. Again, not a much …

Bold entry and smooth and caressing mid-palate. Some oak showing, but not too much. Wow... what a great wine for the price. This is Hartford's most basic Chardonnay. I don't think that I have ever had a basic Russian River blend that is this good.

Family Winemakers 25th Anniversary Tasting, I remember their first at the Hyatt Embarcadero. Nose of rich tropical fruit with a touch of minerals and dusty earth, more of the same on the palate, good acid, rich fruit, easy to enjoy, long finish, a real value under $30.

Taste at FHE. Tropical. Pretty toasty for sure.
