Still gorgeous colour, kerosene nose, acidity and candied citrus flavours and great length

Reichsgraf von Kesselstatt : From magnum. Herbal kerosene note on the nose. Elegant, rounder, fuller body. Somewhat dirty midpalate. Citrus, smoky.

A little faded in the glass. Nothing too striking of note either on the nose or palate. Just a bit average allround.

On its own: decent Riesling. Good acidity, apple/pear notes with an almost Aussie-like limemess to it. A little tight still - there is a slight bitter note on finish. Off-dry sweetness but still stood up to a tikka masala. Good either on its own (although a year more would help) or with food. It gets more bitter and grapefruity later, something I don't really like in wine (narangin?). Much better the following day (stored 'as is' in fridge) both on …

Medium-dry with a bit of sharp lime peel on the noise. Supple and charming with good weight and sensible proportions for early drinking. Aromatic, easy-going with deft, simple and pure tropical fruits . Great value.

Nice nose. Honeysuckle-ish and jasmine. tastes sweeter than I anticipated but has a freshness from the apples and lime which appear. Finish a bit short. This is an absolute guzzler.

Monthly Tasting Group LTB 2013-05; Beautiful Mosel (Germany) (by AW) : Bouquet with yellow tropical fruits, minerals and tart green apple. On the palate candy fruits, good concentration, but also elegant. Minerals and grapefruit/lime impressions as well. Nice wine.
