Woods Crampton Pedro GSM

This has well exceeded my expectations at the price I bought it for. It’s savoury all the way and there’s no oak used in the making of it. It’s a crisp and enjoyable wine with sweet and sour raspberries, pickled cherries, some vanilla and pepper. There seems to be some whole bunch influence, which keeps it light on its feet. A very easy drinking wine for times when contemplation isn’t required. Excellent value, even at full retail price.
