Black cherry fruit, some spice, perhaps a bit of tea but the oak was probably a bit much here for the fruit. Fairly broad across the palate. OK.

this was a lovely bottle of village msd with great crushed raspberry fruit and a nice clean finish. Very pretty and refined. The pickiest taster in the house, my wife, even found it very enjoyable. Not overly complex or deep but for village level this is about as good as it gets. drinking perfectly now and needs no decant. Maintained the same level for the next two hours with no decline or improvement which was a bit unusual. really liked …

This bottle is hitting its stride. Unrated here IMHO. Great balance and structure. Tasted great from corking to last glass. Wish I had more.

Cola and vanilla nose. Cherry fruit with some earthiness and acidity. Very even and elegant. Very good price for small production burgundy of this quality.
