Kind of a strange pinot - borders between "meh" and "not bad" - but certainly not "wow" or "hmmph" good. I don't agree that the fruit is almost gone....at all. This wine was cellared around 58 ever since it was bought almost 2.5 yrs ago, and still had plenty of fruit left in it tonight. Uncorked to a medium stain on the cork. The wine poured a dusty red rose into the glass. Nose of gingerbread cookie with raspberry frosting. …

Drank June 14, 2015. Fruit almost gone . Highly extracted, almost amarone like. Not at all typical of Santa Rita Hills Pinots but not objectionable either.
