Denante (Robert Martin), Saint-Veran

Brought this to Lori and Vinny for their Thanksgiving table. Shared with the family. From magnum. Unfortunately, the wine was disappointing. Lacking the freshness and liveliness that I associate with saint-veran. Where is the lemon merringue? Too much steel obscuring the fruit. Brought unconsumed wine back to Selkirk Manor where I shared with pat the following day. Slightly better but still not exciting or memorable.
