A slightly lighter version compared to the Tenuta delle Terre Nere Etna Rosso but drinks well and a reasonable alternative in this space

Light red, tending to orange - red fruits on the nose, and vanilla. Light bodied, slight sweetness on palate - moderately drying tannins on the finish. Nice enough, but completely nondescript.

Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio. From the Etna area. Limpid cherry. Oaky nose, with some cherry fruit. Palate is modern, quite oaky, no character. A. Tasted at Sicilia en primeur.
