Dark cherry plum aromas. Complex savory notes and very fine tannins. A perfectly developed Marlborough Pinot in a great place right now.

Maraschino cherry on the nose, ripe and spicy, Similar story on the palate, just a tough herbal and medicinal but in a good way, fruit is beautifully poised, and then it finishes savoury with some leather. A very nice wine in a lovely place. Good price at £25.

New Zealand London Annual Trade Tasting (Lindley Hall, Royal Horticultural Halls) : Whole bunch, fresh, fragrant, interesting, red fruit, a small toasty note, palate is juicy, smooth, some smoky notes, almost med body, it does seem rather lean for what it is, maybe lacking a bit of depth, med finish

Spicey with a underripe black cherry. A green rhubarb and green tomato leaf and stem component. Very savory and would be great with the right meal

Mavens pickup party: this one not in our consignment although we got the riesling from the same winery. Pale red with translucent rim; characteristic PN aroma, slightly sweet on the palate, high acidity. Interestingly I confused this with a PN from California's Central Coast which shocked me.

Taste North Canterbury 2018 (Christchurch, New Zealand) : A good middle-road New Zealand Pinot Noir, from the North Canterbury region. Cherries and cranberries, medium-bodied with a savoury tannin core and earthy notes on the finish.

Pinotpalooza (Carriageworks, Redfern) : ripe sweet black and red berry, cream, slight stalks, and spice. More of the same on the palate. Nice.

The push towards elegant/light wines - The start of a new direction in our wine journey? (Amara Sanctuary Resort) : Tasted blind. Wonderful aromatic nose of sweet scented wood. On the palate, lots of red cherries, cranberries and raspberries. Rounded mouth-feel with some soft supple tannins towards the refreshing medium finish. Fruit-forward and hiding nothing. Lack of complexity made me guess New World Pinot Noir. Really liked the nose of this, hence the points.

Smell has that earthiness of a traditional pinot. Strawberry jam notes. Pleasant and enjoy able. Solid double yum

Light to medium body. Very cherry nose. Cherry, Cranberry, linzer tart flavor. Nice drinking wine, but simple and a bit monolithic.

Clean, fresh NZ fruit. With some structure and darkness. Clean, well made, if pretty straight ahead. At $24 it works it out.

Probably one of the best value for money Pinots I've ever tried. Typical old world pinot farminess on the nose with underlying baked cherries and strawberry. Soft and delightfully smooth. Very well balanced.

Not my style of Pinot at all and I have another bottle to drink. Ruby in color with a lot of cherry going on. No complexity, no earthiness, no body. I popped and poured to sit down and read the latest WS and forgot I had it sitting next to me it was so forgettable..

Pale red, almost pink with a very ripe, warm Pinot nose. Made in a lush, full style with sweet red fruits and a spicy finish. Not really my favourite style of Pinot.

Wine Fair Tasting Room, quick notes. Tons of cherry on the nose, along with some tar and black pepper. Light on the palate, showing lots more cherry, burnt oak, tar, and blackberry.
