Grochau Cellars Pinot Noir Eola - Amity Hills

Served this after an 08 Sokol Blosser. This is clearly a younger wine from another big vintage (comparing '12 to '08) and definitely get darker fruits, more earth and oak than the Sokol at this point. If one were to have patience and wait I'm sure you'd be well rewarded but right now it might be too soon.

Served with dinner for family gathering. No detailed notes but felt it over performed its price point.
