Last btl. Amaaaazing wine, but I had too little time to fully enjoy it tonight. A rather yellow colour to this wine, earning its name! Beautiful floral sherry (manzanilla) notes that reminisces of either an over-mature white Bdx (the appley aromas add to this) or a crazy-wild natural wine that noone really cared about (the young Brett gives this away as a clear winner). This is a brilliant flor+savagnin+small time wine. Absolutely brilliant! The acids play with the floric aromas, the "complexity" is everywhere, the length and mouthfeel makes for new Worlds to be created. This is so good I had to try it four times before writing my first TN of this. It feels thin, but behaves ultra-gravitas and rich. It feels both like a youth and a 30-something hipster. Nez de noix ert trufle. En bouche, très franc et sec, je confondrais pour un Xérès fino. Salinité, longue persistance. Délicieux mais couteux.
