Direkt nach dem Öffenen zu Steak und danach probiert - Farbe: Immer noch sehr konzentriert und dunkel - Bouquet: Typisch Nebbiolo. Kirsche. - Geschmack: Etwas ruppiger und nur teilweise integrierter Bbs. Frucht schon nicht mehr sehr präsent. Tannine aber noch ruppig. - Solide aber kein großer Wein

- Farbe: typisch Barbaresco, rot aber nicht zu dicht; schon etwas bräunlich - Bouquet: Rote Frucht - Kirsche, Pflaumen. Schön rund, nicht gewaltig - Erster Eindruck: mittel schwer, schöne Tannine und Frucht. Allerdings zunächst auch etwas holzig - Barrique? - Wirkt aber insgesamt nicht ganz rund. Frucht kommt nicht so richtig durch, Säure/Tannine/Holz etwas zu stark

I agree with the previous review. Weird, because I've had other wines from this producer, and this doesn't show at all. Watery off the bat, with almost nothing of anything on the nose or palette. After a few hours there is some fruit, acidity, and tannin, but nothing to note. Not great value, stick to the better bottlings.

We were surprised: the wine grew old. based on color, nose and taste it could have been 5 years older. Time to drink.

Opened up on the second day; warm red fruits, herbs and spices, sweet tannins, refreshing cherry-like acidity... in a somewhat modern style, but good balance and persistence, needs a about four to five years at least...
