Maison Glandien l'Ouverture Rosé

Flabby and dilute. Nothing exciting going on here. Not sure what these actually sell for but paying retail would be a huge mistake.

This was my first bottle from Kuban; this was quite interesting; the nose was different; some strawberry, saline, mineral, a bit floral and some earthy/petrichor notes. The palate initially was nice, but not striking. However with air, the palate gained a lovely intensity and focus with a lovely purity. It grabbed my attention. Took about 2 hours to get there. Nice nose with some red berries, grapefruit, minerals, and some floral notes. Good acidity with similar flavor profile. Medium finish. This is a nice rose, well rounded and balanced but not overly complex or deep.

Maison Glandien day drinking with Tino Kuban (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany) : Glass: Zalto Balance Tasted blind. Clear pale salmon color. Nose with fine strawberry notes. On the palate bone dry, serious, juicy. Good, but not exciting. 87-88
