Fantastic again. A bit of band-aidy brett on the nose, but nothing stinky enough to shake us off the tail of this limpid, gorgeous thing. Candied red pepper jam, but mostly this one sang via texture and hum. Positively vibrant.

Was smitten with this a year ago, and bought three bottles as a result. Tonight's was the first of three, and while it was good I'm not sure I'd've taken such a plunge based on this one. Integrated brett, spritz, fantastic texture -- but not a ton beyond that. Moved on to a Chinon from the same vintage at the same price and there was no question which one was more of a pleasure-giver.

Natural in style with some spritz upon opening. Stinky on the nose with an interesting and rustic palate.

Kenji makes a complex grolleau, but also his gamay is not an easy drinking wine; odd spicyness.
