My perception of this wine totally changed. I would serve this to guests.

Easy to drink. But this time I don't need more.

Good warmup sparkler for the night. Some apple and pear flavors, some freshly mown grass, some acid. Bubbles are pretty big, but refreshing.

Crisp, refreshing, very dry. A fun, slightly serious sparkler that paired well with smoked salmon and sour cream.

Russk. Andrea brought to CDC on Pablo's patio. Very light and lovely. Get some from Garagiste.

Decent enough - used this mainly as a base for mimosa's (as with the other 4) - good on its own as well - very solid value at $12 - bready. juicy good fruit and acidity just lacking polish and length.

opened this bc daughter wanted to make mimosas for brunch. most of us ended up just sipping it as it was. it offered a crisp enough chalk vervy drink that went well with eggs and hot chilis. good wine!

What do you expect for sub $10? Persistent bubble, hint of fruit / apple. Light bodied and clean, but fairly flavorful. Easy enough.

Great value. Very subtle. Due to the subtlety, this is a great mid/post meal palate refresher as you are changing gears. Feels like a low calorie wine.

Nothing offensive, good for the money. Bought as a base for sparkling cocktails

Nice though subtle flavors. For the price this is pretty much impossible to beat. White tree fruit. Smells of citrus but doesn’t taste it.

Very faint straw color, also faint apple aroma with not much else going on nose wise. Very crisp, very dry on he palate without much texture or fruit. Again a Cava that disappointed the whole crew.

This is from the Requena area in Valencia, and is 80% Macabeo, 20% Chardonnay, aged on its lees for 15 months with an 8 g/L dosage. Rich, if dry, very yeasty and marzipan, impressive, but broader on the palate than I like, mouthfilling rather than incisive, which perhaps is its charm.

clear and light with faint aromas of yeast and almonds. Taste meets expectations but doesn't dazzle or go far.
