Gold. Aromas of bruised apple, roasted almond, apricot, acacia blossom and crushed rock. Hint of sherry. Vivid orangey acids and ginger bitterness. Palate of plum tart, raisin, walnut, fig jam, honey, apple sauce and sea breeze. Hint of islay whisky. A mature, complex and muscular wine with ripe yellow fruit, bitter nutty notes and a grand mineral finish. Drink within 3-5 years. Tasted alongside Chablisienne Les Clos 2014 and the matched wine was greater, better balanced and livelier yet with …

This felt a bit high in alcohol, and I don't think it has the stuffing to survive for much longer. Would start drinking now. Otherwise a very nice bottle with tonnes of power and depth!

Side by side with a LdH Blanco 2011. Great to compare the austere LdH with the more modern Remelluri. This far more elegant right now. Appearance is golden, but not dull. Nose is floral and sweet. On the palate, cream, chamomile, citrus, candy. Acidity and body very well balanced. Just in a great place now

Quite an interesting blend. Viura mixed Grenache blanc, Marsanne and Roussanne. Floral notes and ripe melon aromas jump out straight away followed by some citrus and floral notes, then some posted almonds and a herbal savoury element I can’t quite pick out. On the palate it’s rich, oily, with loads of ripe fruit and plenty of acidity. Drinking well now, but will keep for 5+ years.

A tour de force in body and depth. I think the next bottle will be saved for a few more years.

Wow, very expressive with loads of ripe melon, lime, lemon and oxidative like notes. Medium weight with great acidity. Long finish. Drink now-2024.

Medium (+) nose. P: Medium (+) acid, dry, high alcohol, medium (+) intensity and medium bitter finish. C: BLIC? Very Good Quality. Short on the finish for me but really interesting flavors. $61.
