De Loach Gewürztraminer Late Harvest

On a crisp fall day on the ridge above Granite Creek Basin after gaining 3500' elevation, from our handy REI Lexan wine glasses. Wet, rather scary looking cork, but no problems with the wine. Delicious aromas of peaches & honey, same on the palate with a little petrol thrown in (why that's pleasant, I have no idea, but I like it).
