South Africa at Jim's tasted blind, I guessed something with a bit of Viognier, 2021, great to see this holding up so well, I had it on release and thought it might be worth saving a long time... ripe and exotic nose, sweet peach, sweet lemon, citrus, herbs... full and a little hot, fresh enough though, beautiful texture, long on citrus and stone fruit

Interesting, complex bouquet. There’s all sorts of stone fruits, dried apricot, quince, spices. Very complex on the palate as well, plethora of fruits, bitter chocolate notes, dried herbs. Very fresh, very long. Balance and harmony here. Enjoyed over 2 days, no changes. With Jesper in BeF.

Found in my cellar. Don’t know who recommended or how I got, but have a few. This is fabulous! Pale gold, looks like a young Chenin (although I have no clue, says “field blend.) Nose isn’t that giving but here’s waterdew melon with honeysuckle and some lime notes. Really tasty, definitely “mouthwatering”. Bracing, yet has some big fruit. Will last, might be young. Definitely chenin. Wish I know what I paid, or where I got it. (-;

Beaucoup de finesse dans ce vin dont personne n’a deviné l’origine. Unique avec des arômes de pamplemousse et de foin, la bouche est droite, tendue et alliant parfaitement concentration et délicatesse. Très beau vin qui a évolué pour le mieux.

This one surprised me. I was expecting exuberance, but the wine was very understated. Clean, ethereal, a touch musty right from the bottle but that blew off. Nice texture and acid, very elegant, but I’m wondering if it showed as well as it’s supposed to. Wasn’t obviously corked, and wasn’t even a tiny bit oxidized, but seemed maybe a touch off somehow.

A wealth of distinct aromas - remember the perfume - Angel- popular in the early 2000’s? There is also popcorn, orange blossom, white roses, vanilla, nutmeg, yellow apple, Asian pear, and plenty more. It’s a field blend of Semillon, Semillon Gris, Palomino, Chenin, and Muscat. Big and powerful. Drink on a well rested brain.

Ljusgul klar färg Citrus, rostade fat, kaffe, tropiska frukter, ananas, brynt smör, persika Fet, rund, smörig, bra syra, medium+ längd, en viss beska i avslutet. I övrigt ett riktigt bra vin. Min gissning landade på en Bourgogne CH vilket var väldigt off.

This bottle was Coravined (about a 5th taken out) in Nov 2017 and showed no sign of degradation at all. On the nose, honey, wax, glue, pears, creamy buttery notes from barrels. Fresh, appetising, dry with round but distict acidity, clean, vinous finish. Long finish with a slight heat at the end. Overall great! 93-94p

Smör, lite krut, fuktigt ylle, lite vax, något nötigt, mogen citrusfrukt och gråpäron. Rejält fylligt i munnen med frisk, lite kärv syra och hög intensitet. Gillar skarpt!

First time with this producer. Cork perfect. color straw. brief note says that this was very nice. great acid with fruit density to match, and super clean. not sure what the varietal blend is here but reminiscent of chenin blanc and chard? doubt that it is that simple tho. drinks like a chablis but with less minerality. very very good, but a stretch at $65 with a little digging looks like this is "a true field blend of Semillon Blanc, …

Fruit blanc, fenouil, nez étonnant et exotique. Bouche grasse, le sémillon ressort au nez avec de la noisette et du miel, la bouche est grasse et riche mais le vin demeure d'un équilibre incroyable avec une structure davantage apportée par le corps du vin que par l'acidité. Très beau vin.
