I picked up two bottles of this for a bargain £11.99 and while the first was not entirely convincing the second seemed much better, displaying bright purple violet fruit and a plush mouthfeel. Slightly warm but not over ripe. Overall very pleasant drinking and for that type of price (say $20-30 AU) I would definitely buy this again.

Slight compote and jubey blackberry fruit, a little sweet spice. Juicy fleshy very slightly sour black fruits strays to cherry and berry, talc textured tannins travel long. S'okay.

Moncur Syrah/Shiraz (Bistro Moncur, Sydney) : Pretty but with savoury stalks, more of the same on the palate. This is one of those quaffing whole bunch wines that will satisfy certain palates (mine) but only on certain days (when I'm in that mood). Nice

Incredible at this price. Ready to go right now and drinks superb. Mouthfeel, acidity and tannins are all in balance.
