Les Fils de Charles Trosset Vin de Savoie Arbin L’Expression de Terroir

No vintage on the bottle, but 2010 on the top of the cork. Very open and ripe nose, notes of stewed tomatoes and macerated young cherries. Dense and more brooding on the palate, red plum and blue fruit finishing with medium tannins. An unusual style that will not be for everyone.

Paired with Trosset's Confidentiel 2010. Half bottle. Lovely nose, violets and cherry fruit; silky texture, light but smooth and rounded, just a hint of tannin; good length. Well-made and very charming.
