med gold color, needs 30 min of air, still good but should be consumed in the near future. SH chards age well, somtimes we keep them too long

Meyer lemon, pear, creamy, rich. Shimmers with very fine oak but it's incorporated and manifests texturally more than anything. Extremely well made and enjoyable.

Acquired recently as part of an 02-05 mini-vertical, my first Stony Hill white with some real age on it… I enjoyed this a lot and it really showed wonderfully paired with saffron egg noodles and broiled char. At first without food, the acids were a bit over prominent but some air and cuisine tamed that. Later the brightness allowed it to cut through everything and give the wine a real persistence. Still has some good rounded fruit with no signs …

It seems I'm the only one drinking this vintage in the last few years and this wine peaked at 2011 thru 2015. Its been a fun ride though. Drinks now with impressive depth: Earthy, nutty nose, piney, lemon and blond wood flavors for 2-3 sips, then it got bigger: nose got heavy caramel and lemon, then the flavors changed: had caramel, light blond wood (like fresh-cut hickory or butternut wood), some green melon with light mineral and stone notes. Very …

Exceptionally fine Napa Chardonnay: Deep gold color. Nose is not huge, but nice citrus and honey notes. Flavors kick in at mid palette where pear and citrus dominate and a only a slight minerality with those same honey notes then they really intensify at the very long finish. No hint of over-aging or beyond any drinking window. The finish is phenomenal. Flavorful, perfectly balanced and refreshingly bright that makes keep drinking. Wonderful now and for at least a few years …

Appears to be past its prime and on the tail end of it's useful drinking window.

Very much alive and vibrant. Medium yellow. Shortbread and creamy vanillin oak in the nose. Excellent palate as well, rich and mouthfilling with great balance of fruit, wood, and acid. Only Stony Hill can do this in CA. Long finish. Mouthwatering. Lovely. 4-12-17-8: 91/100.

Stunning wine. Strong nose of vanilla, sweet cocoa and a touch of myrh or lavander. Very complex nose. Intensely flavored, right at the 1st sip. Very viscous, downright oily. Where it picked up this much body, I don't know. Floral flavors, intense chard fruit, some honey and peach with vanilla, all intricately combined. Very long and balanced finish. Yet for all the body and richness, it has vibrancy and some acidity that keeps it fresh while still thick full bodied …

Still quite youthful color. Light gold with nice viscosity. Nose on this never changes: telltale creamy coconut. Vanillin oak. Palate is rich and a bit woody but also creamy and elegant. Seems to be at its peak. Drink up. 5-11-10-5: 81/100

At home with H. Brilliant deep yellow. Striking. Good legs. Nose is a bit faint, but still excellent. Creamy vanillin oak with a hint of coconut. With air, a hint of chalk like Chablis. Palate is delicate yet still with decent medium body. Round mouthfeel, good flavor, and still a fair bit of acid backbone to keep it structured. Balance is this wine's hallmark. Finish is soft but lingers. Not a blockbuster, but very good. 5-12-16-8 91/100.

Beautiful light gold color. Nose has a touch wet oak in it mixed with an undripe stone fruit quality. Flavors: Firm nectarine and smooth honey flavors with a flinty quality throughout. Persistant finish of the same flinty-fruit flavors and a plush minerality that are well balanced. Good acid and a lively, long finish keeps you coming back. Has room to grow. Not your typical Napa Chard. The fruit will probably get a bit sweeter and richer with age. I think …

Drank well over several days. Not as sharp in the mouth as previous bottles. In its prime drinking window, I think.

Showed a bit acidic; otherwise, nothing really stood out. Can't see it improving. Maybe this bottle was off?

rich and full with some tropical notes upon opening, and later on i liked it better as they receded leaving a more balanced package - mineral and good acidity, rich ripe flavors. very good stuff.

Light golden yellow color, vibrant nose of citrus, pure water, and minerals. Fresh palate offering citrus, minerals, and hints of ripe stone fruits. This is well balanced with zippy acidity and there is a grea tension to the wine - excellent stuff.

This is on okay every day type of wine. Remember - it is not a chardonnay grape! So it is a little different. Better with food.
