Semi-carbonic maceration for 10 months in conical wood tank. 2017 vintage: 40% Gamay, Pinot Noir, Poulsard, Trousseau from 80+ year old Jura vines Pure, Delicious Textbook Jura

Can’t find much info about this wine. Supposedly a blend of gamay, pinot noir, poulsard and trousseau, but I’ve found webshops claiming this is a blend of gamay and syrah as well. Anyway, it’s a beautiful natural wine. Funky, yes, but also elegant. Super juicy, slightly petillant, good length. Medium+ intense aromas of red cherry, blueberry, raspberry, cranberry, blackberry, horse stable, wet earth, white pepper, green bell pepper, mushroom, cigar leaves. 13% - €27 @ Péché Divin, Jacou

Decanted for over 2 hours. The nose is nicely fruity with notes of strawberry leather, sweet spice and a hint of rose petal. Palate is strawberry candy, raspberry and cherry liqueur but with lots of acidity to balance it out and some soft tannins sneaking in on the finish. Very delicous; reminds me of a pretty, lifted cru Beaujolais.

Fruit forward, fresh, red berries, and some musty funk. Good Jura, but a touch soft.

This is light and delicious with slight effervescence.

Bu en succ. A proche 40$, on pousse fort sur la notoriété et le côté hipster....pendant que la vague passe. Désolé je n'embarque pas, c'est fuide et assez mince, a ce prix, je me garroche sur 2 Bojos qui m'en donne plus en ce moment.

Nice Gamay and Syrah from Ganevat, good minerality, earthy, red berries juice, funkiness is there but not much spritz, medium bodied. Sure value from Ganevat!
