Pietracupa Fiano

Reliably interesting and enjoyable Fiano from Sabino. Lightly aromatic. Waxy, quite broad on the palate - not unlike Chenin Blanc perhaps. Balanced by very present acid. Touch herbal bitterness on the back end. Good grip. A wine for the table. Worth the price

This is a really interesting wine. There are floral notes and little bit of green apple on the nose, but when you taste it, there is far more acidity than expected. Great structure and focus, but not too tart. A nice citrus flavor lingers. A really good food wine.
