This is an excellent wine from a somewhat underrated Alsatian vintage. Made from a blend of Riesling, different Pinots and Gewűrtztraminer from the Grasberg site, with a limestone terroir, situated near the top of the hillock with the famous Grand Cru Altenberg on its South-facing slope. It has a facinating golden-yellow color, a nose and palate with a distnct umami (beefstock) touch, tropical fruits, minerals, residual sugar kept in check by an invigorating acidify and a lingering finish of about …

Amber colour. Flinty nose and sweetness balanced by minerals and a touch saltyness.

This juicy white is defined by dry, racy acidity and fleshed out by honeyed notes of ripe peach, brine and red grapefruit. A smoky undertone and hints of white pepper add further complexity. There's power, but it's placed in an elegant package. Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer Perfect accompaniment for tonight’s spicy Asiatic dish– Delicious compact fruit driven nose, creamy and well Balanced.
