pleasant and interesting susumaniello, a typical local cepage from Puglie with lots of ripe red fruit, delicate spices and and a little bitter aftertaste. Delicate hints of oak. Might be worth waiting a couple of years to smooth tannins, but paired well with maccheroni with radicchio. Time may improve. At Cantina della Vetra with MM and MLC in a warm autumn evening
