Wine did not hold up as well as I think it should have. Nice fruit up front, but none of the earthy notes I expect in a Ribbon Ridge Pinot. Finish was short as well.

Medium ruby color, mild aromas of roses, cedar, spice and mushroom. Medium bodied, slightly chalky tannins with firm acidity. Sour dark cherry, strawberry primary notes, with a tiny bit of bakers chocolate. Tasty drink, bright acidity makes it more interesting, but a little one note. Good but not great.

Medium ruby in color with strawberry, mushroom, and spice on the nose. Medium body with a nice smooth mouth feel, with dark cherry and dark chocolate, and cedar on the palate. Nice acidity and still a good soft tannic backbone, should age and be good for a couple more years yet.

Nice oak on the nose. Concentrated dark berries, cigar, some bitter at the finish. Medium on the palette.

Pnp, took my time. In the glass: Deep ruby, clear, nice slow legs. On the nose: Strong hit of vanilla, rosebushes and spice. In the mouth: Medium mouth feel, sweet cherries on the tongue, nice finish. This bottle is better than the last one. Excellent example of an Oregon pinot. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

375ml. A bit earthy on PnP. Needs an hour of air. Cocoa powder, black cherry, terrarium vegetation, earth, and a little new leather. Black cherry, tart cherry, earth, and spice on the palate. Good acidity, tannin, finish. Overall, this was a very nice, balanced bottle. I regret opening it so soon after the last one but I needed something to pair with an earthy vegetable ragu, and this was the ticket.

375ml. Pop and pour. Gorgeous nose of cocoa, black cherry, wet earth, forest floor. Similar on the palate, though initially the palate comes across a bit light. About an hour of air corrects that. This is quite delicious now, but I'm saving my other bottles for a bit.
