Nose: Nice and balanced tones of plums, red fruits, and herbs. While there isn't too much depth, it's nice and fragrant. Taste: Medium bodied with medium acidity. It is lacking slightly on the mid-palate, but has nice tones of plums and red fruits. Overall: This is a nice chianti. It's fine for an everyday drink and has a nice red fruit core to it.

Easy drinking, medium red. Clear sense of place, typical dust and earth across a nose of sharp berries. Slight oil slick on surface. What I like most is the earth and barrel grew as the wine opened, never turning too musty or basement-like. Even, cool fruit with hints of barrel complexity and a core of stone fruits. Nice stuff.
