Textbook Merlot

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry, prune, plum, oak and vanilla. It tastes like blackberry, plum, prune, oak and vanilla. The body is medium/full. The wine has narrow texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Medium raspberry color. Typical Napa Valley, tho thankfully not overripe nor overoaked. A well-made Napa Merlot at a reasonable price. Still young: A few more years in the bottle will soften it out. 91% Merlot, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon.
