This has improved quite a bit with time, may yet not be at peak. Glowing white gold color, the chalk element has toned down making room for a broader mineral palate and a more fruit driven presence with lime, pineapple, kumquat, crisp apple and pear. This is becoming balanced and compelling.

Not as tropical or classy than vintages past. Some chalky tartness, somewhat towards the young Muscadet direction. New varietal blend might require more age to mellow out than previous. Don't quite know how camaralet ages.

Lemony colored wine with a green tinge. Pungent nose with green grass, lime, unripe lemon zest and some tropical fruit on the background. There is also a scent of pine raisin or glue which I thought might come from actual glue because an agglomerate cork is used. However DIAM the company who made the cork is considered one of the best producers of such corks and glue taint seems unlikely. Still this aroma is not very pleasant and this is …

Powerful aromas of peach and spiced, poached pears. Ripe and juicy with good freshness and depth of flavour. Notes of pear drops and stone fruits. A touch candied on the long finish. Excellent value.

Fine. Quite acidic. Some character and herbs on the nose on opening but this fades. Hmmm. A bit dull? Perhaps thge change of blend has affected this wine. No longer 100% Gros Mensang but now 60% Gros Manseng and 40% Camaralet.

Wine Education Service - South-West France (Imperial College) : Very pale gold. Aromatic, slightly grassy with white fruits, fresh. Luscious, citrus, strong acidity, refreshing, drink as an aperitif or with food, medium length.

This was my first Jurancon. Light lemon-green in color. Tropical fruits like mango, lychee, kiwi and guava with sweet lime and hints of greenness. Medium-bodied with nice fruit and high acidity. Very crispy. Aftertaste is less than medium. A wine with a unique style overall. Although its components were quite familiar, the way they were combined resulted in a unique personality.

Light lemon-green. Fresh and intense pungent nose with crisp lemon and lime and citrus peel. Hints of unripe tropical fruit like melon and lychee as well as aromas of capsicum. In the mouth it is again mouthwateringly citrucy with some citrus peel bitterness and unripe fruit like melon, pineapple and peach. Flavour intensity is high, the wine is crisp but balanced and finish is quite long. Overall very interesting slightly unripe fruity wine- unripeness seems to be the style- refreshing …
