Nose has tart red and black fruits with some shoe polish and coffee grounds. Palate is still fresh blacka sneed fruits with nicely integrated acidity. Some chocolate notes. Pretty amazing for a 8 year old North Fork wine.

Dark cherry, purple plum, cocoa, little funk, palate is fresh with crushed mixed berries, a little disjointed at this point.

Much deeper magenta than the 09. Perfumed nose. More pepper and leather. Palate starts with crushed black pepper, savory and turns towards black cherry. A little tingly acidity on the finish. Good but not great. Has a little rotten egg. Some fine grained tannins.

2 yrs in oak. Fresher nose with cut grass and soil. Tobacco and a tiny bit of bell pepper but quickly overshadowed by red and black fruits. More fruit forward than 09 or 08.
