Marchesi di Montecristo Nerelo Del Bastardo Vino da Tavola

Very enjoyable $7 wine, balanced, good fruit, hints of earth.

Consistent with previous notes, nice QPR.

Crowd pleasing smooth, simple fruit foward blend. Drink soon!!

Really a better than decent table wine. Smells a bit pruney with wood spice, but well balanced on the palate with nice acidity. Enough structure to be vinous. Easy to drink. I had an '02 which seemed like a Nebbiolo, while this more than likely has some blending or just really ripe (quasi raisined) fruit added to it. Balance is the key here.

Tart cherry, some earth, simple, good QPR.

Great QPR, great balance between fruit and earth, good concentration, will pick up more next week.
