Dureuil-Janthial Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Clos des Argilli�res Vieilles Vignes

Meh. This wine did not have the characteristics of a '99 1er cru. Nose had some plummy fruit and a little bottle stink which did not linger. On the palate it was round and plummy, tannins pretty much resolved without any noticeable acidity. There was a caramel note that I did not care for. Disappointing.
