14.7% alcohol. Moderate, golden color. The nose is packed with pear, nutmeg, flowers, and minerals. More fruity when cold but thicker and more alcoholic with some warmth. On the palate, there is ample pear, spice, honeysuckle, and minerals. Structurally, this medium-bodied wine has adequate acidity, well-managed alcohol, and rounded tannins. The finish is moderate and packed with floral notes and a mineral edge. Overall, I am not typically a fan of Roussanne, but this wine is full of floral notes, …

The wine is a bright, vivid yellow color. The very clean and fresh nose has white peach, honeysuckle, minerals, lemon zest, melon, spice, and a touch of petrol. This has medium body, nice acidity, and maybe just a hint of sweetness. This has good fruit on the palate up front with spice, chalky minerals, and citrus on the back end. The finish has decent length but it did leave me wanting just a touch more. Overall, a very nice California …

W sausage on Sunday nite. Helen doesnt like white Rhones. I think this is pretty good and just different. Rousanne really needs food. Maybe pork or heavy white fish. Nice color good nose of flowers, spice and fruit. Limited finish.

Had with the first dungeness crab of the season in the SF Bay Area. Chilled, pop and pour, and consumed over 1 hour. Definitely improved from when I last had a bottle 15 months ago. This bottle was more balanced, with great apricot, tropical fruit and ripe meyer lemon. Good acidity, and paired perfectly with the crab.

Tasted over 3 hours as it chilled from cellar to serving. Light gold with heavy legs. A nice apricot aspect to the aroma but overall, very weak. Palate has a gorgeous weight and structure, but also leaves for want of more. More fruit, more florals, more minerals, more acid, more finish, etc. Still a lovely wine and very good with seafood, just a surprising lack of bouquet and probably not up to my expectations of MM. 5+7+16+6=84

Medium golden in color. The nose is terrific with notes of honeysuckle and apricot. Medium to full bodied wine that is rich in texture with classic flavors of fig, nuts and lush tropical fruit. The only knock on this wine is that it has a tad bit of heat on the finish. Overall very enjoyable and interesting.

Pop and Pour, tasted over one hour. The wine has great flavors, but the lack of balance (specifically, lack of acid) really detracts from what this could be. Great yellow straw color, notes of melon, petroleum, cirtus, and unripe peach. Paired really well with a beur blanc sauce with petrole sole and corn on the cob, but fell a little short on its own. I love Mcprice's wines, but his whites tend to be a bit flabby for me. A …

Pop & pour. Nose (major)- melon, sour apple. Nose (hints)- honey, cucumber. Palate (major)- beeswax, melon, sour green apple. Palate (hints)- honey, pear, nutty, sherry-like oxidation Positives- interesting oxidative notes, sherry-like finish, subtle flavors work well with lighter fare, nice length on the midpalate Negatives- low acid levels make the wine flabby, flavors not concentrated, higher alcohol thins the palate and finish. Style & Quality- B-. Not really many wines to compare this to, a few from the N Rhone …

14.7% ABV. Medium gold in the glass. Reticent honey nose. Medium full bodied with round, ripe apple and pear fruit with an undercurrent of nutty almond nuance. Good.
