An even stinkier nose than the last bottle. Full and rich on the palate. Maybe a bit less meh than the last bottle, but that wouldn't be difficult, and it might also be down to tasting it after eating some smoked anchovies. (Yeah, I know, but for once having lingering food flavours in the mouth is to the wine's benefit.) But there's no depth, no real character, and no interest hear. Mid straw. Rather closed nose. Minerality and bottle stink rather than any particular fruit characters. Quite full. But a very generic cheap white wine feel, with an aggressive hardness on the finish. Nothing wrong with - well, no obvious fault. But, unless it's going to develop remarkably in the glass, it's 750ml of meh.

This wine always impresses. Lovely white peach stone fruit. Mouthfeel is typical Chenin. Great value chenin.
