Selected wines from Ove's cellar (Lier, Norway) : Dark and tight colour, some orange edge. Aroma of meat, rusty iron and wet fur. Medium body, fleshy, smooth and rather dry. Nice, rustique style. Probably at it's best now.

70% Malbec, 15% Merlot, and 15% Tannat. This is really a pretty darn nice wine. Dusky, dusty aged-fruit nose of blueberry jam and cassis in a manner reminiscent of big California cabs, but the wine is medium bodied and quite well balanced, with dusty blueberry/cassis flavors and a touch of smoky oak broadly supported by ample acidity.
