Versatile wine. Taste of creamy, custard-y tropical fruit. Nice oily texture for this type of wine. Enjoyable with Maine lobster, bacon-wrapped scallops, and Jonah crab claws.

Thursday night at home with grilled pork chops and peppers and zuchinni. Finished a bottle opened the other night - then opened a new bottle (not finished). Nice light and refreshing wine on a hot night.

I've said this many times before, and I'll say it again - you just can't beat a nice Sancerre in the summer. Clean, crisp, citrusy and just built a sunny day, with a bottle of Sancerre in an ice bucket near your feet. For me, Sancerre is one of the best whites out there and an incredible expression of the SB fruit. I'm sold!
