Domaine Hide Merlot-Franc Kami no Hatake

11% ABV. Blend of 76% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 12% Syrah. Fermented with ambient yeasts, unoaked, unfiltered and without added SO2. 201 bottles made. PNP into JR x RB glass (“Flower” day): Pale garnet to the eyes. Sumire (violet) infused inky purplish fruits like plums and cherry. Quite the textbook style of Merlot in a nice manner. Medium- acidity, secondary notes driven, suave tannins. Clean natural style here indeed. 93-94 points.
