Needed 45-60 mins to open up. I decanted it after I opened and poured through half with friends. Wish I had decanted straight away. A wonderful bottle of single vineyard cab. Notes of mint, spice box, red and black fruit on the palate. I have one more that I hope to get to in the next year or two. This could easily age longer.

Very nice. Had this at King’s with some friends. Very dark color with a nice aroma of dark fruit, Earth and oak. 9 years old and it still had a nice amount of fruit. Definitely aged and mellow. Big in Oak, which actually may be a bit much for the remaining fruit. Actually, I need to get working on my “First Decade 2000” Sequoia Grove Cabernets. Well made and meant to age, but there’s still a limit to them. For …

Still holding its own. Dark fruits, still present tannins, shift, velvety mouthful. Enjoyed with prime rib.

Lots of plum, still a bit tight. Notes of Currants. A bit earthy, which I enjoy.

This wine was not good. Not sure if it didn't age right. No flavor at all. Blah.

rich nose of blue/black fruit, pencil shavings and oak. rich and concentrated on the pallet with very present tannin and spicy pepper on the finish. Very nice. drinking nice now but I see this aging nicely for many years. --- picked up some secondary dark chocolate on day 2

This is maybe the first bottle of this I have opened. Opened 2 hours before drinking--not decanted. Next time try 1 1/2 if the evening will be long like at EIE. outstanding wine. wonderful dark fruit bouquet. Terrific fruit on the attack, coating the mouth. Extremely dark fruit - dark cherry blackberry cassis and leather cigar tobacco, chocolate. Wow. wonderfully complex as it moves through the mouth. It is the kind of wine that you hate to swallow--you just want …

Opened at a restaurant and drank beautifully. Perfect, smooth, very light tannins have held it together.

Decent bottle of wine but not impressive for price. Well integrated and pleasant straight out of the bottle, but never opens up. Some dark fruit but short/medium finish.

A bit smoother than lamoreaux but still boring. The estate reserve of Morasoli are much better.

This is my least favourite of their reserve set. its a cold type (fresh/acid), simple and fruity.

Dark fruit, pepper, tobacco, and smokey oak. Tannins are big, but don't overwhelm the wine.

Very smooth, supple tannins, tight, clearly needs more time in the bottle.

Fantastic. Smooth and lush. Subtle fruit with a touch of rich of oak. Benefit from more years on its side.
