Nice Canadian Niagara Region Chardonnay. This is also a Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) “Wine-of-the Month” selection. Austere, deceptively simple style. Not a full bodied oakey/buttery style, but more like the legendary older California Stoney Hill Chardonnays that inexplicably lasted forever in the cellar, or a Chablis that is a little more fruity and less minerally.
