Domaine Borgnat Bourgogne Coulanges-la-Vineuse Tradition

Very fine and pure example of burgundy, with crisp fruit and some earthy tannins. Somewhat overshadowed yet in its youth by a tart acidity that is just starting to mellow out. After about thirty minutes open, more floral aromas surfaced, and i expect in a year our two this will be a crowd pleaser.

From memory. Decanted for 1h. Aromas of cherry red fruit, green herbs, earth. Palate follows with a light elegant silky body with nice acids. Nicely balanced between fruit and savory elements. Lacks concentration and depth but loved the texture. Prominent tannins on finish.
