Drank with ERS during Covid 19 Quarantine. Needed something to smile about and this delivered. Delicious. ERS made cauliflower gnocchi. Fruity, low tannins. Bottle was given to Phil by Dad and we used Phil’s new lagole cork screw

Very enticing, elegant and full-of-depth Central Coast (Paso?) Rhone red blend that just gets better in the glass and grows on you...different animal if you haven't had a lot of Rhone blends, but excellent. 26% Mourvedre, 17 % Grenache, 22% Cinsault, 18% Couunise (?), 17% Petite Sirah. Hard to pick any one varietal out of this luscious blend, but the chemistry of all the varietals worked well. Plenty of dark cherry fruit, but slightly restrained to where this was neither …

Really nice blend of 38% Syrah, 31% Mourvedre, 18% Grenache, 18% Petite Sirah, and 3% Viognier. Nose of dark cherry, tobacco, cedar and baking spices. Cherry explodes on the tongue, with spices and well-integrated oak. Full-bodied and a long finish. I was skeptical about opening , but this is drinking bautifully right now after a 30 minute decant.

Drank with thanksgiving dinner and it wasn’t a good match. It would have been better with red meat. Or even chocolate.
