Ruby in color. Nose of red cherry, vanilla, cranberry, and dust. Second nose is more of the same and raspberry. Smooth and balanced. Dried cranberry and dried cherry flavors.

Cork split at opening, but got it out without pieces falling apart in the wine. Wine is amazing! Aromas of roasted red fruits, dust, and brambles. Deep, very dark burgundy in color. Rich, complex flavors of ripe red fruits - very bright and zingy - with notes of dust, charcoal, and cocoa on the finish. Should be perfect with dry-aged rib eye steaks!

A wonderful field blend from Sonoma. Enjoyed with a diverse pairing of lobster roll, pizza and salad. Typically I would drink this with red meat but it did not over power the diverse food served. Very fruit forward with soft tannins poured through an aerator.

32% Petite Sirah, 26% Syrah, 20% Petite Verdot, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Grenache. Deep purple color. Fruity and grapey nose. On the palate more smoke, anise and charcoal than fruit. Medium to full bodied. 87 points

After a horrible Morgon, now, this is wine. Reminds me of a 15E gnarly head with some added layers of Tuscany cigar over the overt dark fruits with pepper and vanilla pudding. It also has some extra freshness to counter the pudding. It costs double. Is it worth the price? not so sure. Keeping a lookout for sales.

Dark red purple in the glass. Blueberry cassis nose; echoed on the palate with pepper, spicy vanilla, and a hint of patent leather. Medium firm tannins and ashy black pepper on the finish. A solid New World blend that's good with food and just for sipping. But it sings with food; have some ribs or pork loin or barbecue.
