Disgorged 2014, golden colour, fine texture and silky mousse, slightly developed aromas of mushroom, candied orange. I had it in a larger glass to offset the mushroomy flavours. The texture saves the day here, but I should have enjoyed it earlier. Lat bottle of 6.

Tasted blind. 100% Chardonnay, disgorged 2018. Crisp, clean, with persistent bubbles. Clear, med yellow. Clean, with green apple, green herbs, ripe lemon, white flower, vanilla, hazelnut and sourdough. Spends at least 50 mos on the lees but does not seem overdone. Dry, consistent with the nose, with a lemony and briny edge to the mineral finish. Med (+) acidity, med alcohol (12.5%), med intensity, concentration and length. Drinking well, it will certainly show well for several more years.

Gourmetklubbens fyrtioförsta middag: Tema Italien (Södermalm, Stockholm (P+A)) : (Disgorged in 2014, 100% Chardonnay) Nice yellow colour with butterscotch, citrus at first and then opens up with tropical notes, tutti fruit and some fresh cut grass. Smooth on the palate showing butterscotch at first and then opens up with orange citrus and some tropical notes on the lengthy finish. (Best 2016-2021)

Nice acidity with some mature and autolytic tones. A small bitterness in the end.

Such an elegant wine it is, with medium weight and intensity but the charm of this blanc de blanc is with the finnesse, the usual chardonnay presence has developed in a more rounded and complete effort, the bubbles are gently filling your mouth and the freshness is just right, again I had some '06 vintage champagne bottles lately and they failed to impress the way this one does.

Medium toast qualities and much softer, richer whitefruit notes on the nose as compared to the 2007 Perlé Bianco Riserva. Medium bodied with lemon and mixed citrus notes upfront. Some orchard fruit peeks through in the middle. Finishes fairly softly, with only light acidity. Didn't have either the balance or depth of the 2007 Perlé Bianco Riserva. I would drink any remaining bottles before the acidity fades further. (Ristorante Bottiglieria Corsini (wine bar); Verona, Italy)

Beautiful small bubbles, but wine flavors were a bit oxidized. In my opinion, a bit past it's prime, but still vibrant with energy.

Nice golden color, fine mousse, ripe apples met by good acidity. Delicious overall, it has got that easy-ness and elegance of good vintage champagnes.

An Italian Blanc de Blancs that impressed! Vibrant yellow-gold with delicate pearls of bubbles. Dressed to party! Aromas of lemons and apples. Strutting her stuff with an exciting, take no prisoners attitude. Palate of creamy, citrus elegance with a pleasant finish. Darn good bubble on our first date...we can foresee future get togethers with this special lady. Great QPR!

100% Chardonnay. Not all that yeasty or bready - good warmth and depth, very good acid. Quite a gentle mousse, just a touch estery, just a little easily too volatilized on the aromatics. Nice stuff though. 12.5%, $36.

Golden yellow color with a fine bead. Shows baguette, stone fruit, apple, almond, and orange blossom aromas . On the palate it's fresh, and harmonious with a soft mousse. It boasts peach, yellow apple, white melon, lemon, and spicy mandarin orange flavors with a kiss of minerality.

Light yellow and light mousse. Fresh fruit and a little bread dough. Refreshing because of the acid as well as the the bubbles. This is really good at age 8!

This is nice, blanc de blanc with chiseled acidity and fine bubbles. Surely can age 4-5y easily and I 'm going to buy some to keep aside.

100% Chardonnay. Some stone fruit on the nose, along with some lemon, but there was also a slight sulfur component that blew off after a bit of time in the glass. Nicely balanced acidity leads to a lingering nutty finish. Very Good. thedrunkencyclist.com

Probably peaked recently and seems to be going downhill rather quickly. The overall impression is of a tired wine, fails to excite and fades quickly but basic structure still OK

Medium straw, quite intense and fast, uniform bubbling. Citrus fruit, autolysis, roasted bread and minerality on the nose. Medium-bodied, crispy, mouth-watering and vobrant with high acidity. Long. Impressively youthful, could improve further. On par with a very good vintage blanc de blanc champagne.

N: Initially a bit anonymous. But with a bit of time and temperature a whole heap of spices and fruit comes out. Cummin, cardamon, orange peel, peach and a slight touch of roasted oak. M: Full bodied, plenty of generous fruit but a fresh acidity and a slightly tart finish. Good length! Good quality bubbles! Competes well with cheap champagne.

Pleasant enough, polished but no real bite. Easily outperforms many NV champagnes, but a far cry from the more serious stuff.

Sort of mineral, and not sweet. A bit of mushroom, and a little forest floor. Not really any butter, but still pretty fresh, and tasty. But not a lot of fruit. Just dry and pretty lightly rocky

Zeer goed alternatief voor champagne. Mooi gerijpt. Rijp fruit in de neus, dat is wel een verschil met champagne. Trentino een stuk warmer. Prima glas!
